What is up world, Jesse Simpson here, this is the action hour, I just got back from an absolute adventure of a lifetime. Adventure travel and sacred medicine in the heart of Colombia. And on this episode, I want to share the story of transformation that came from this eight days and eight nights with eight people from four different continents from around the world who came together to find out who they are and why they're here. We consciously curated this retreat, and it just turned out so amazingly well better than I could have ever imagined. And the feedback I got was, you know, one of the guests turned 30 and he said it's the best birthday he's ever had. One of the other guests said it was far beyond what they expected it to be and I'm just so grateful to have had the opportunity to facilitate this transformation in the heart of Colombia and I believe there's just no better place in the world to transform. Medellin Colombia went from the most dangerous city in the world to the most innovative. We toured comuna 13, community 13, which used to be the most dangerous neighborhood in the most dangerous city in the world. And instead of guns and drugs, they now have these incredibly, beautiful graffiti, art murals, they have breakdancers, and kids dancing in the streets. These people are just the definition of resilience. And they are so humble and grateful and proud to be where they come from. But they didn't get there overnight, they went through decades of suffering and struggle. But this is the hero's journey, we have to leave the known, the familiar, because it's creating suffering and struggle in our lives. We answer the call to adventure, a call to action, the desire to change and we venture off into the unknown, we venture off into the unknown to find out who we are, and what we're really capable of. We meet a guide, or go to a foreign place where we learn about a new way of living and being in the world. And then our mission is to come back with this elixir, this new perspective, this change of mind, change of heart, we bring that back to where we came from and we show other people who they really are and what they're capable of. Because now having walked it, having lived it having become who we were born to become, we can show others that there's literally nothing they can accomplish. And then once they get over themself, and get out of their own way, and answered the call to action, nothing can stop them. And that is exactly the experience we walk through with the guests on this eight days and eight nights adventure travel and sacred medicine in the heart of Colombia. On day one, we toured the most dangerous neighborhood and the most dangerous city in the world and we learned how anything is possible, that no matter how dark things may seem, we can always change our life. If this massive city of 3 million people can do it. Why can't you? The answer is you can, but sometimes you have to get a different perspective and see that it can be done to believe it's possible for you. And it is always possible for you. But this reminder coming from this tour is a great way to wake up the dormant potentials sleeping inside of you. Day two, we sat with a medicine called Kambo they call it the vaccine of the jungle. And it was the guests first opportunity to face their fears. To sit with themself look at something that brings out anxiety brings out fear inside of them, but move forward anyways. Because of course, courage is not the absence of fear. It's feeling the fear sitting with it or moving forward anyways. And every single one of the guests did just that. They faced their fears, they purged, they cleansed themselves of these fears, this anxiety, this driving to have control and they came on the other side awake and engaged. And that evening, we went on a hike to the jump of the angels, this incredibly beautiful waterfall, but it was no easy task to get there. We had to climb up this huge mountain needed ropes to get up there, and then as we're bouldering down, climbing down these boulders to get to the actual waterfall, it starts pouring down rain. Now, we can of course, turn back, we didn't have to go forward with what we set out to do. I mean, it was dangerous, but isn't it more dangerous to just tiptoe through life playing it safe playing it small suppressing your voice, never answering the call? Is it isn't it more dangerous to do that than it is to go forward and get what you want? So we kept moving forward, and we moved to this waterfall, we climbed over the rocks, check out on my Instagram, there's all kinds of pictures and videos, this incredibly beautiful waterfall. It was pouring down rain, the water was freezing cold, but everyone got in. We were singing happy birthday to one of the guys on the trip and it was just... it was so great. It's like we we had cleanse we had removed the fear. And we moved forward anyways into this beautiful waterfall. And we started to wake up these dormant potentials lying inside of us instead of the guests. And these people were realizing that they are not who they thought they were. They are not the fear beneath the scenes that is driving most people's lives. The next day, we had session number two of Kambo and then we start with some medical medicine called Ayahuasca, in Columbia, they call it yage. We went to a maloca with a man named Tito Giovanni, Tito is another name for shaman. And every single person had this deeply cleansing experience, it's like phase two of this journey was an awakening. Awakening that brought the realization to every single one of us that there is something bigger happening here. Because there is and this awakening as a way of showing us who we are and what we're capable of. This medicine has a way of giving you exactly what you need, at that moment in time. And every single person experienced that they felt that they woke up to that as a way of bringing out the shadow parts of ourselves. So this desire to strive to do something or something we're suppressing or neglecting inside of ourselves, has a way of bringing out our fears, so we can see them, let go of them and move on with our life. And after a recovery day, we hiked Cerro tusa, the world's largest natural pyramid, and holy shit, this was way more challenging than anybody expected and had rain the night before. And this mountain is very steep and it was pretty much all mud. So we're army crawling up this entire mountain for about two hours and every time we got up to steps we slid back one, so were just barely getting it up there. But everyone did so great. And I just want to give a shout out to my wife, Jessica, she just did so amazingly well through all these experiences, she faced so many of her fears. She's not much of a hiker. But she went on this adventure. And she answered every call to action that was put in front of her. But I mean should everyone did. It's just so amazing to see these people coming together, eight strangers from four different continents from around the world coming together under one roof, to face their fears, to wake up these dormant potentials to wake up to what they're really capable of and they demonstrated this on this mountain, having now been challenged mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. They're climbing the world's tallest national pyramid and they're finding what they're really made of, they're being challenged. Should we turn back? Should we keep moving forward? Every single one of us made it up to the top of the mountain. And we were so rewarded for doing that. The views, the 360 degree views from the top of this natural pyramid were just incredible. But we got up there and the whole mountain was surrounded by clouds. We couldn't see anything. But we waited out the storm. We waited out the storm we had lunch, had faith that these clouds will clear. And not long after that they cleared and the beauty of the Colombian countryside was revealed to us the mountains, the greenery, it was just so incredibly beautiful. And we all did it together. But then we had to go back. And this mountain was so steep, and it was so muddy that there was no walking down. You had to sit down and slide. It isn't that the journey isn't that the journey we always go on. We get a leg up, we go for it, we declare what we want and we finally cultivate the courage needed to move forward and they'll get punched in the throat or knocked on our ass. And we can either turn back or we can keep moving forward. Together we move forward, we slid on RS is all way down this damn mountain and ended up on the bottom together exhausted, but grateful to be alive and to be together in that moment. We had some wrestling up to do when after an incredible meal. I even mentioned the cook. Wow. Our cook. Vanessa was just so amazing. She gave us the most incredible food just came from scratch, I have no idea where she got the shit, she just achieved it with a lot of love. And we felt that or we tasted that it was amazing. So we rested up the next day, and then it was shit. It was coming to a close like the week was over. It went by so fast. But it was so amazing all throughout. But Saturday we had one last thing to do a medicine called Bufo, 5-MeO-DMT, it's the world's strongest psychedelic, it is a literal spiritual rebirth. DMT they say is the spirit molecule, the god molecule, they say it's what pushes your spirit out of your physical body when you die. The best way to live is to surrender your old life and be reborn into a new life. And that is where true transformation comes. Which is why we ended this retreat with this experience, this incredibly powerful experience that people got to apply what they had learned over the week, the idea of transformation, that idea of facing their fears, the idea of taking action and completing what they started out to do. And when that moment, when you come to this realization, that life isn't what you thought it was. And you can step into the power, you have to create anything you want in the world, then you embody true transformation, then you have an opportunity to realize who you are, and why you are here. And that is exactly what these guests experienced on this eight days and eight nights of adventure travel and sacred medicine, the heart of Colombia. Ladies and gentlemen, we are moving through a transformative time across the world. I believe there's never been a better time in the history of the world to be alive. But that's because things are changing, people are waking up. We're breaking free from the change of these systems that are built to suppress and deny who we are and why we are here. And we're coming together to take our freedom back, to take our consciousness back. This waking up is happening across the world, but ladies and gentlemen, it will leave you behind if you let it. When you are ready, you will receive a call to action, a call to adventure of feeling that you can't live like this anymore, or that there's something more out there for you. This call into the unknown. You have to let go of the fear that has been keeping you playing small, suppressing your voice and neglecting this desire, you have to create something more to your life. Your mission will be to find out who you really are and what you're capable of and as you venture off into the unknown, there is no question that you will find the answers you're looking for. You will find out what it means to be free to be awake and feel fully alive. But you've got to answer the call, you've got to go for it. You've got to take the leap. You've got to go on this adventure of a lifetime to see what you're really made of and you'll be challenged and pushed to the limits mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally and you'll come out on the other side with the clarity you need to take back your life and to create anything you want in the world. That's the experience we've created with action adventures, sacred medicine and adventure travel, in the heart of Colombia. So whether it's our retreats, or a solo trip around the world, or starting a business or writing a book or doing anything and everything that you are called to do, answer the call. The adventure of a lifetime awaits. And then come back and tell me about it. I wanted to learn all about what it took for you to overcome adversity and take action on your dreams, to turn your dreams into your reality and then to move beyond this state of worrying and wanting and just start living in being who you were born to become. That's it ladies and gentlemen, this is the action hour. My name is Jesse Simpson. I hope you enjoy this journey of a lifetime. I hope that you answer the call. You'll get a taste of adventure and you'll bring the elixir back to the people in your community that you can share with to wake them up to who they are and what they're capable of. What would life be like if we all woke up these dormant potentials lying inside of us if we all cultivate the courage to answer this call to action, and move forward, that's the world I'm living in. What about you?
